Hillcrest has a large number of opportunities for artists, performers, and other creatives. If you’re a vendor looking to sell products, this page isn’e for you. If you’re an artist willing to create your work at our events, perform at one of our events, or help us create art, this is the page for you. We offer paid gigs for artists and performers, and we offer free spaces for emerging artists at Hillcrest CityFest, Walk in Art, and Pride Block Party. We’re also looking for skilled crafters and makers who can help us create fun spectacles at our event. Please fill out the brief form below and we’ll be in touch.
Artists
Artists for the heart many of our events. Walk in A.R.T. is Hillcrest’s monthly art event. It is an arts showcase in Mural Alley with artists, performers, cocktails, and food. This event has an opportunity each month for a featured artist. We’ll create a venue at this unique and exciting space. Hillcrest CityFest features an emerging artists showcase and providing a forum for over thirty emerging artists to showcase their talents and sell their art for free.
Performers and DJs
If you’re a performer (or know a performer) that will bring unique and creative talent to our events, we’re excited to hear from you. CityFest has a $20,000 budget for performers and Walk in ART has paid opportunities for unique performers every month. Hillcrest is an exciting neighborhood and DJs will always have a place here. CityFest, Block Party, Nightmare on Normal Street, and Walk in ART all have entertainment budgets and feature dance parties. If you’re a talented DJ, we’d love to hear from you.
Creative Makers
We’re also is also looking for creative people, makers, and those who are crafty. In 2022, we’re going to be building a number of large interactive art pieces for CityFest and Nightmare on Normal Street. So, If you’re good with a paintbrush, hammer, or a saw, we need your help! Whether you’re a glue gun person, set designer, a cosplay junkie, or just love a good set of saws, we’re looking for you! We need people who can make things and work with their hands.
